This notice describes what Suite (suite.stramedia.ch) holds about you when you use the product, why it is held, and how to remove it. It applies to your Suite account and to any Instagram account you choose to connect.
Your account: the email address you sign in with, and a name if you provide one.
Connected Instagram accounts: the account identifier, its public profile details, and the access credential Instagram issues when you approve the connection. That credential is used by our servers to publish on your behalf and is never shown in the product or shared with anyone.
Your content: the posts, captions, media and schedules you create or upload.
Product usage: the pages you open and the actions you take, tied to your account, so we can find what is broken or confusing and fix it.
Support messages: anything you send us through the in-product support chat.
To run the service you signed up for: to sign you in, to publish and schedule what you ask us to publish, to show you how your posts performed, to answer your support messages, and to keep the product working. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. We also record product usage as described above, so we can improve the product. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Publishing runs through the official Instagram API. We request only the permissions the features you use require, and you approve them at Instagram before anything is connected. You can disconnect an account at any time from Accounts in the menu; the access credential is retired immediately.
Account and content data is kept while your account is open. Product usage records are kept for a limited period and then removed. When you delete your account or disconnect an Instagram account, the related data is removed as described below.
An Instagram account: open Accounts in the menu and disconnect it. The stored credential and that account's connection data are removed.
Everything: email info@stramedia.ch from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We remove your account, your connected accounts and your content, and confirm when it is done.
If you remove Suite from your Instagram settings instead, Instagram notifies us and the data connected to that account is deleted automatically.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@stramedia.ch and we will answer. If you are in the EU or Switzerland you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
